SUMMARY:Dance Exchange Summer Institute\, Module 2
DESCRIPTION:As part of our Organizing Artists for Change initiative\, Dance Exchange institutes embrace process and performance\, dialogue and dancemaking\, and the role of artists as changemakers. Our institutes support reflection and response to important issues and opportunities of our time\, and build the capacities and connections for artists to ignite inquiry and inspire change in their own communities. For people of all ages 18 and older\, Dance Exchange offers multiple opportunities to bring ideas into action through two modules of our Summer Institute.  \nIn Module 2\, we continue exploring Dance Exchange core practices through research\, engagement\, and the creation of a new work.  Join Associate Artistic Director Matthew Cumbie\, Resident Artist Juliana Ponguta\, and Partnering Artist Sam Horning for this dancemaking and performance intensive. New participants must attend Module 1 in order to attend Module 2. Alumni are welcome to attend only Module 2.
